Cat Ryan "Mary Shelley Song"
Sounds from UK
A ping pong riff, a vocal and guitar duet. Cat Ryan arrives with a kind of post-punk ska of the new millennium. "Mary Shelley Song" is a track with a clean sound, cheerful although with a hint of melancholy that is distantly reminiscent of the Men at Work style. A song to listen to on a Friday at the beginning of the night.
Update! 16/3/21 The band just released the official video for the song. With great performances, fine art details, a dramatic fictional black and white staging that contrasts with the band's live appearances in color. The use of reverse projection and one more nod to Men at Work when playing on a hill. Great!
