Space Kitchen’s "Flight Of The Mothman" is a blistering, two-minute-and-twenty-two-second instrumental prog-rock sprint that deftly balances experimental aggression with infectious catchiness. Driven by a relentless 5/4 time signature, the track is a masterclass in tight, energetic musicianship, featuring a searing guitar solo, ripping keyboard lines that highlight the Cambridge, Ontario band’s piano-focused roots, and a propulsive bass performance that will instantly trigger nostalgic Rush flashbacks. Serving as the final mastered single from their upcoming self-titled album, this unpretentious yet wildly ambitious cut proves that Space Kitchen can deliver witty, complex, and "too catchy" progressive art-rock without ever losing its raw, psychedelic edge.
